9.3 GREENHOUSE GAS (GHG) EMISSIONS [GRI 305-1 | 305-2 | 305-3 | 305-4 | 305-5 | IF-EU-110A.1 | IF-EU-110A.2] In 2020, in upholding the process of continuous improvement, our GHG emissions inventories started to detail the E&P segment, including not only the gas treatment and production units, but also the well drilling, seismic, and reservoir activities. We also started to report Scope 3, thus contemplating all GHG scopes and, also in order to increase data reliability, we started to use specific emission factors for stationary combustion, calculated for all our units separately. In addition, we have formally adhered to the GHG Protocol and will publish our inventories in the Public Emissions Registry. In line with these advances in our climate management, in 2021, in addition to starting a climate risk study, we also joined the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), assuming the commitment to promote greater transparency of our practices regarding the themes of "Climate Change" and "Water Security".
